[BIMPROPERTIES]

Manages user‐defined (or system generated) property sets associated with objects such as Supports, Conductors, and Insulators. Enables creating, editing, reordering, and removing these property sets and their definitions

Options:

  • Namespace: Lets you choose which “namespace” (e.g., “User,” “Project,” etc.) you are modifying.
  • Property Tree: Shows categories (like Alignment, Conductor, Insulator, Support) and their defined properties (e.g., “Height [m],” “Weight [m],” etc.).
  • Filter: Filters the displayed property definitions by keyword.
  • Set: Creates a new property “set” group or subcategory in the currently selected namespace or category.
  • Property: Adds a new property definition (e.g., “Height [m]”) under the selected set.
  • Value: Allows you to specify or edit a default value or a particular data type for the selected property definition.
  • Up / Down: Reorders the selected property or set in the tree (moves it higher or lower in the list).
  • Remove: Deletes the selected property or set from the tree.
  • Import: Imports property definitions from an external file or library into the current namespace.
  • Export: Exports the currently selected properties or sets to an external file for reuse elsewhere.
  • Visibility: Opens a dialog to toggle the visibility (e.g., “Label,” “Visible: Yes/No”) of properties in the interface or on objects.
  • OK button: Confirms and saves any changes made to property definitions, then closes the BIM Properties dialog.
  • Cancel button: Cancels the command and closes the dialog without saving changes.
