Attaches point cloud to the drawing
This command is developed to attach point cloud files to a drawing. Point clouds are collections of data points defined by X, Y, and Z coordinates, typically used to represent the external surface of an object or the topography of a terrain.
- Upon execution, in the command window users can browse and select the desired point cloud file to attach or a folder.
- User then specifies the point cloud data name.
- Users can specify insertion points, scales, and rotation for the point cloud data, aligning it correctly with the existing drawing elements with given dialog.
- Time needed to generate point cloud is shown in dialog box in right-down corner.
- Supported formats are: .e57, .hspc, .las, .laz, .pts, .ptx, .rcp, .rcs, .zfs, .lgsx, .rsp, .rdbx, .pack, .lgsx, .zfs.
